Hockey Australia 2027 U16 Championships will be held 6-13 April, Venue: Newcastle

Hockey NT invites athletes to nominate for the 2027 NT U16 Men’s and Women’s representative teams.

Attendance at the U16 Stingers Academy is required as part of the nomination process. Held outside the regular hockey season, the Academy gives coaches more time to work with athletes on the pitch, provide feedback and support their development. This additional training time allows athletes to build their skills, put in the work and prepare for the demands of representative hockey.

Trial dates and times

Wednesday 18 November 2026

• Men: 5:00–6:00pm

• Women: 6:00–7:00pm

Thursday 19 November 2026

• Men: 5:00–6:00pm

• Women: 6:00–7:00pm

Please arrive 15 minutes before your trial for check-in and warm-up.

Nomination close midnight Sunday 25 October 2026.
