Thrifty and Hockey NT Strengthen Partnership to Support Growth and Community Engagement

Hockey Northern Territory (HNT) is pleased to confirm the extension and expansion of its partnership with Thrifty Car Rental, extending their collaboration through to 2027. This renewed partnership will help HNT deliver key events, such as the Festival of Hockey, and continue to provide opportunities for athletes and communities across the Territory.

The extended agreement will support HNT’s ability to host national and international teams in Darwin, ensuring the delivery of seamless, well-supported events. It also provides greater capacity to support state programs and regional outreach, helping to strengthen connections with communities in areas such as Alice Springs.

HNT CEO Jason Butcher highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “Thrifty’s support helps us deliver events that bring top-level hockey to the Territory while continuing to strengthen regional engagement and development. Their commitment plays an important role in making our programs more sustainable and far-reaching.”
